Power Outage
PORTAGE BOROUGH 5/2/2025
There are approximately 66 residents that still have no power in the borough. Power is estimated to be back on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. If any resident in the community need to charge their electronic devices, the borough is offering the administration building for power sources. Also, Giant Eagle has announced that 2 gallons of water and 2 bags of ice will be offered per family with the outage. The locations are as follows:

1233 Broad Street in Johnstown
344 Goucher Street in Johnstown
681 College Avenue in Ebensburg
7 Cottonwood Street in Northern Cambria
Portage Boro Regular Meeting
The Borough Council will be holding their April monthly meeting on Monday, April 21st, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
April regular Council meeting cancelled
The Portage Borough Council regular meeting scheduled for April 7, 2025 has been cancelled until the April 21, 2025 committee meeting commencing at 6:30 p.m.
