The Borough Engineer is appointed by Council at each organizational meeting serving a two year term. The Borough Engineer is considered an official of the Borough and is compensated on a retainer basis. The Home Rule Charter , (page 41) provides the procedures for the appointment, and responsibilities required of the Borough Engineer.
