Portage is a borough with home rule status in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Ebensburg and 22 miles (35 km) southwest of Altoona. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,459 at the 2020 US census.

The Administration will be closed from Thursday, May 23rd through Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 in observance of Memorial Day and vacation. The office will resume normal business operations on Thursday, May 30th, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.
